- How to remove Babylon Search in Firefox?
Somehow I ended up having Babylon Search as default. Even after Program ->Remove, it stayed in the Firefox setting.
In order to get rid of it, Here is another one: Type address "about:config". Hit return. You get a warning.
Go to the line "browser.newtab.url" and right click on it to "Reset". Restart Firefox.
The following I found on Mozilla help did not fix but is interesting in that it is using sqllite for setting: you need
to edit Sqlite file at c:\Users\(you)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\wncgupgg.default\chromeappsstore.sqlite.
(Windows 7). Here is the details.
